Parra noted that while Dell had other cities in mind, further expansion would depend on results at these stores.However, there are no plans to put Dell product in conventional retail outlets.
This is part of the increasingly-blurry lines between manufacturers and retailers, as retailers increase their private label and manufacturers open retail outlets. (Though Dell was always a cross-over).Parra said the company would not seek to put its products in other big-box electronics retailers.
"That's not us," he said. "It is unlikely you will see our PCs in Best Buy."
